Pendant Luminaire
This geometric pendant fixture is a section of a spherically projected geodesic polyhedra. Each segment is made from back to back pieces of channel which are bent to the correct radius and framed by a ring of metal tubing. Suspended at its apex, the pendant's power cord is concealed by a metal stem.
The strength and simplicity of the polyhedron form is animated by 20 custom programmable LED strips, capable of displaying both static and moving content. The dynamic media can be easily controlled over Wi-Fi from any browser.
Polyhedra can be built to include additional segments of the geodesic dome it was derived from, and material and finishes are customizable upon request.
